Varieties that flourish in specific regions may not fare well in different environments. so as a logistic company, Seabreeze can address these issues.

  2. prepare plants to move. Once we figure out the ideal climate conditions to move our plant, we have to decide whether are we shipping plants barefoot or potted.

  3. Secure potted plants or wrap bare root plants before moving them. Once your plant is ready, it's crucial to ensure its safety during transport. If you've chosen to ship your plant bare-root, wrap the roots gently with a damp paper towel and secure them using plastic wrap or a plastic bag. For plants shipped in pots, prevent soil spillage by securing them properly. Place the potted plant in a bag, lay wet paper towels over the soil surface, and firmly secure the bag around the base of the plant. Depending on the plant's resilience and the travel distance involved, it might be a practical choice to help you save both time and money.

  4. Choose the insulation method. Next, we want to choose our insulation method. Insulation serves as a protective shield, safeguarding your plants from freezing in winter and maintaining their coolness during hot spells. Various insulation options are at your disposal, ranging from Styrofoam boxes to foil blankets to cardboard inserts for box insulation.

One effective method to shield your plants from sudden cold or heat is by including a heat pack or gel pack in your packaging. This ensures your plant remains within the optimal temperature range during transit. Ensure that your chosen pack can maintain protection for the entire duration of the shipment.
